The State Bank of India has released the SBI Clerk Result
2026 on 17th October 2026 for candidates who appeared in the Preliminary
Examination conducted under the Special Recruitment Drive for backlog
vacancies. The backlog vacancy Preliminary Exam was conducted on 16 September
2026.
Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their SBI
Clerk qualifying status through the result PDF and find out whether they have
been shortlisted for the next stage.

Candidates who find their roll number in the result PDF have
qualified the Preliminary Examination and can appear for the Mains examination,
which will be held on 17/18 November 2026.

The SBI Clerk Mains examination for the backlog recruitment

SBI Clerk Backlog Scorecard 2026
The scorecard carries the marks scored by the candidates in
the examination. The scorecard for the prelims examination will be released
separately on the official website. Once released, candidates can log in using
their registration details and password/DOB.
What Should Qualified Candidates Do Now?
If your roll number is included in the SBI Clerk backlog
result, the next priority should be Mains preparation. Candidates should
immediately shift their focus to General/Financial Awareness, Quantitative
Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude and General English. They
should also revise banking and financial awareness topics regularly and
practise full-length Mains mock tests to improve speed and accuracy.
