The Staff Selection Commission has announced the SSC GD Constable Result 2026 for the Computer-Based Test on 12 October 2026. A total of 1,97,408 candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).  Selected candidates can access the result PDF and category-wise cut-off marks through the official website, www.ssc.gov.in.

The individual scorecards are expected to be available by the end of October 2026. Candidates are advised to download the result PDF and search for their roll numbers to verify whether they have qualified for the next stage.

SSC GD 2026 result was released on 12 October 2026. A total of 1,97,408 candidates have been shortlisted for PET/PST. A total of 1,97,408 candidates have been selected. The results of 63 candidates have been withheld, and 88 candidates have been debarred. Use these steps to download your result PDF:

1. Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the Results section on the homepage.
3. Find and click on the link titled “Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026 – List of Female Candidates Provisionally Shortlisted for Appearing in PET/PST (List-I)”.
4. The SSC GD Merit List PDF will appear on the screen.
5. Press Ctrl + F and enter your roll number in the search box.

Who will conduct the SSC GD Physical Test 2026

The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) will conduct the SSC GD PET/PST 2026, not SSC. The Staff Selection Commission held the written exam and shortlists candidates.

The CRPF is the nodal force and will issue the PET/PST call letters, which candidates can check on rect.crpf.gov.in. The PET/PST date has not been announced yet. Candidates are advised to visit the CRPF website for further information.

The SSC GD Constable Computer-Based Examination (CBE) results are out, and eligible candidates have been shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

What Happens After SSC GD Result?

After the declaration of the SSC GD Result 2026, candidates who qualify for the Computer-Based Examination (CBE) will proceed to Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME).

SSC GD Salary After Selection

The SSC GD Constable salary is offered as per the 7th Pay Commission. Candidates selected for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles are placed under Pay Level 3, with a basic pay ranging from ₹21,700 to ₹69,100.

In addition to basic pay, selected candidates receive allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance, as applicable.
