PSSSB Group B Recruitment 2026: Punjab Subordinate
Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released Advertisement No. 13 of 2026
for the recruitment of 10 Group-B posts in various departments of the
Punjab Government. The vacancies include Head Draftsman, Law Officer, Legal
Assistant and Accountant posts. The official notification was published on 29
September 2026.
Eligible candidates can submit their applications online
through the PSSSB website from 01 October 2026 to 22 October 2026. The
selection process includes an objective-type written examination followed by
document verification/counselling. Candidates should carefully check the
post-wise educational qualification, age limit, fee and other conditions before
applying.

Note: For all posts, the candidate must have passed Matriculation
with Punjabi as a compulsory/elective subject or an equivalent Punjabi
examination, as specified in the notification.
PSSSB Group B Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The age will be calculated as on 01 January 2026. The
minimum age is 18 years. The maximum age for General Category candidates
is 37 years. For Punjab State Scheduled Caste candidates, the upper age
limit is 42 years. Government employees of the State/Central Government
can have an upper age limit of 45 years, subject to the applicable
conditions. The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other
eligible married women is relaxed up to 40 years according to the stated
Punjab Government instructions.

How to Apply for PSSSB Group B Recruitment 2026
Candidates should visit the official PSSSB website and use
the “Apply Online” link between 01 October 2026 and 22 October 2026.
New applicants must complete registration and generate their User ID and
Password. After login, candidates should fill in their personal and educational
details, upload the photograph, signature and required documents, pay the
application fee online and submit the application form. After successful
submission, candidates should take a printout of the completed application form
for future reference.
Once the application form is submitted, modifications are
not permitted. Candidates should therefore verify all information carefully
before final submission.
