HP High Court Group C & D Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Various Posts

The High Court of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla has
released Advertisement Notice No. HC-Advt./2026 (3) for recruitment to
Group-C and Group-D posts. The recruitment includes Librarian, Peon, Mali
and Cook-cum-Attendant posts in the establishment of the High Court of
Himachal Pradesh. A total of 15 vacancies are advertised through the
online recruitment process. The online application process will start from 27
September 2026 and the last date to submit the application and fee is 27
October 2026 up to 11:59 PM. Eligible candidates can apply through the
official High Court recruitment portal.
The recruitment is being conducted as per the Himachal
Pradesh High Court Officers and the Members of Staff (Recruitment, Promotion,
Conditions of Service, Conduct & Appeal) Rules, 2015. The Group-D posts
carry Pay Level-01 (₹18,000–₹56,900), while the Librarian post carries Pay
Level-09 (₹35,600–₹1,12,800). Candidates should check the post-wise
qualification, experience and selection requirements before applying.

HP High Court Recruitment 2026 Qualification
Librarian: Candidates must have graduation along with
a Post Graduate Diploma in Library Science or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in
Library Science. Candidates must also have 3 years’ experience as Library
Attendant or on a higher post in the related field in a reputed organization,
including a public institution.
Peon: Candidates must have passed Matriculation from
a recognized Board.
Mali: Candidates must have passed Matriculation from
a recognized Board and possess 3 years’ experience in gardening, etc.
Cook-cum-Attendant: Candidates must have passed
Matriculation from a recognized Board and have 3 years’ experience in cooking
in a Government undertaking or reputed hotel. Preference will be given to
persons acquainted with the local customs and dialects of the place where they
are to be deployed.
HP High Court Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
- Age
will be calculated as on 01 January 2026.
- UR
and EWS: 18 to 45 years.
- Reserved
categories of Himachal Pradesh, where the post is reserved: 18 to 50
years.
- Himachal
Pradesh Government employees: 18 to 50 years.
- Five
years’ upper-age relaxation is available to bona fide SC, ST and OBC
candidates of HP and persons with benchmark disabilities of HP where
applicable.
- Age
relaxation for HP Government employees will be applicable as per the
relevant orders/directions.

single daughter/orphan and relevant experience.

Eligible candidates should visit the official High Court of

Recruitment Application (ORA). Candidates must enter their personal,
educational and category details, upload the required certificates/documents
and pay the applicable examination fee online. The application must be
submitted before 27 October 2026 at 11:59 PM. Applications through any
mode other than online will not be accepted. Candidates should also retain a
printout/screenshot of the submitted application for their records.
