of Touring Veterinary Officer (Bhramanshil Pashu Chikitsa Padadhikari) and
Equivalent Posts under the basic cadre of Bihar Veterinary Service. A total

Qualification
Candidates applying for the Touring Veterinary Officer and
equivalent posts should possess a B.V.Sc. or B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree
from a university/institution recognized by the Veterinary Council of India.
Candidates are also required to have permanent registration with the Bihar
Veterinary Council as prescribed in the recruitment notification. The
candidate must satisfy the applicable professional registration, citizenship
and other eligibility conditions before applying.

Limit
The minimum age prescribed for the post is 21 years,
calculated as on 01 August 2026. For the unreserved category, the upper
age limit is generally 37 years for male candidates, while category-wise
upper-age provisions provide higher limits for eligible candidates, including 40
years and 42 years in applicable categories. Age relaxation will be
available according to the applicable Bihar Government rules and reservation
