Supreme Court of India Junior Court Assistant Recruitment 2026: Notification Out for 250 Posts

The Supreme Court of India has released an official
advertisement for the recruitment of Junior Court Assistant (JCA) under
Advertisement No. F.6/2026-SC (RC) dated 30 September 2026.
Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for preparation
of a panel against 250 tentative vacancies. The post is a Group-B
Non-Gazetted position placed in Level-6 of the Pay Matrix, with an
initial basic pay of ₹35,400 plus applicable allowances.
Eligible candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree from
a recognized University in India along with computer knowledge and a
minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute. The online application
process will begin on 7 October 2026 and the last date to submit the
application is 28 October 2026 at 11:55 PM.

Supreme Court JCA Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
As on 1 September 2026, candidates should be at
least 18 years old and the maximum age limit is 30 years. Relaxation
in the upper age limit will be available to eligible SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy
Layer), Persons with Disabilities and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of
India rules. Dependents of freedom fighters may receive relaxation of up to
five years beyond the prescribed upper age limit.

How to Apply for Supreme Court JCA Recruitment 2026
Eligible candidates must apply online only through
the official website of the Supreme Court of India. The online registration
window will remain open from 7 October 2026 to 28 October 2026 up to 11:55
PM. Candidates must complete the application form, upload the required
photograph, signature and documents, and pay the applicable examination fee
online. After successful submission, candidates should preview the application
and take a printout for their records. The filled application printout is not
required to be sent to the Supreme Court Registry.
The Objective Type Test is tentatively scheduled for 20
November 2026. The Typing Speed Test and Descriptive Written Test will be
conducted in Delhi/NCR, while the interview will be conducted either
online or physically in Delhi, as directed by the competent authority.
