marks for each paper. Scoring well in one paper does not automatically
compensate for failing to meet the qualifying requirement in another paper.
The official notice also provides a relaxation of up to 5%
in the minimum qualifying marks for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste
(SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories, as specified in the instructions.

As stated in the official instructions, marks are awarded
for correctly typed words. Errors such as incorrect characters, omitted or
repeated words, incorrect punctuation, spacing mistakes and incorrect Hindi
matras are excluded from the correct-word evaluation.
Candidates should practise both languages regularly rather
than concentrating on only one typing test.
RSSB LDC Efficiency Test 2026
In addition to the speed tests, candidates must appear for
the Hindi and English efficiency tests. Each efficiency test carries 25 marks
and lasts 10 minutes.
The efficiency tests assess computer-based work in the
prescribed format. Candidates should practise the relevant software operations
and follow the exact instructions provided during the examination.
The detailed task requirements and software-related
instructions should be checked in the official notice and the examination
interface. Candidates should not assume that typing speed alone is sufficient
to qualify for Phase-II.
