CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI),
Mysuru, has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for 28
Technician (1) vacancies under Advertisement No. Rec.02/2026. Candidates with
10th qualification and the relevant ITI certificate or prescribed trade
experience can apply for these posts.
The online application process will begin on 19 October
2026, and the last date to apply online is 18 November 2026. Candidates must
also send a signed hard copy of the application with the required documents by
26 November 2026.

CSIR CFTRI Technician Recruitment 2026 Age Limit
The minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age is 28
years as of 18 November 2026. Age relaxation is applicable as per
the prescribed rules, including 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for
OBC (NCL) candidates against reserved posts. Additional relaxations apply to
eligible PwBD candidates, Ex-Servicemen, certain government employees and other
eligible categories under the notification.

The selection process consists of the following stages:

CSIR CFTRI Technician Exam Pattern
The written examination will be conducted in OMR-based or
computer-based objective multiple-choice format. The standard is SSC + ITI/XII,
and the questions will generally be available in English and Hindi, except
English-language questions.

has no negative marking and is qualifying in nature.
- Paper-II
and Paper-III carry one negative mark for each incorrect answer.
- Final
merit is prepared using the marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.
